1January 18th, 2015 - The fourth round of the 9th Annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout was held on Friday night at USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona), and a miniseries high of 52 entries took part in the $3,000-to-win event.

Kyle started fourth in his heat, but would slip backwards after having to get on the brakes to keep from getting into the back of another competitor, who slid up the track in front of him. As a result he finished sixth, which relegated him to a b-main. In the last chance event he advanced to a sixth place finish, but with only the top four finishers moving onto the main event his outing came to an early end.

On Saturday evening racing action resumed, and against a 52 car field Kyle raced into the main event with a third place finish in his b-main. In the 30 lap, $3,000-to-win finale he advanced to a nineteen place finish.

The miniseries drew to a close on Sunday evening, where Kyle entered a $10,000-to-win event against a field of fifty entries. A second place finish in his heat race sent Beard to the feature in the fifteenth starting spot. He raced around mid-pack throughout the event before crossing the finish line in the thirteenth position.

January 14th, 2015 - Kyle Beard opened his 2015 season with a trip to USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) for the 9th Annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout.

The opening round of the six race series was held on Saturday night. With 50 entries on hand for the $3,000-to-win event, Kyle started eighth on the grid for his heat after drawing a large number at registration. He advanced to a fifth place finish, which locked him into the sixteenth starting spot for the 30 lap feature. Kyle raced around mid-pack before mechanical woes sidelined him. He was credited with a twenty-fourth place finish.

The winner's purse was increased to $5,000 on Sunday evening, and the team hoped for better luck. Unfortunately luck would not be on their side as the team battled the handle throughout the night before falling just short of qualifying for the feature. His night ended with a sixth place finish in the b-main.

Wednesday night found the team back in action, and while Kyle failed to qualify for the feature via heat race action, a fourth place finish in his b-main earned Beard the 24th starting spot for the main event. He would go on to battle a mechanical failure to a 22nd place finish.
