Kyle Beard wraps up Wild West Shootout at Vado Speedway Park
After a winter storm cancelled the mid-week events, Kyle Beard and his team returned to Vado (N.M.) Speedway Park on Friday afternoon to finish up the 2025 Wild West Shootout.
With the field dwindling down to 39 entries, Beard checked in second-fastest in his qualifying group before picking up a heat race victory. Starting from the pole in the 30-lap, $10,000-to-win main event, Kyle slipped outside the Top-5 to finish sixth.
On Saturday evening, Beard made the A-Main but only managed a 21st-place finish before missing Sunday's $25,000-to-win finale.
