Second-place finish in Spooker at Tri-State Speedway

Friday night found Kyle Beard in action at Tri-State Speedway (Pocola, Okla.) for the two-day Spooker. In a field of 39 United States Racing Association (USRA) Modified entries, Beard locked his spot into the A-Main on Saturday night with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Lonnie Robins.

Rolling off second, Kyle faded 10 spots in the 20-lap affair to register a 12th place finish. During the same night in the Late Model ranks, Beard gained three positions in his heat to pick up the 8-lap victory. Starting the feature in third, Kyle clawed forward one spot to register a runner-up finish behind Ryan Gustin with Cole Wells, Joe Godsey, and Austin Theiss rounding out the Top-5.
