Beard competes with Comp Cams over Labor Day weekend

To kick off the Labor Day weekend, Kyle Beard followed the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) to Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Ark.) on Friday afternoon for the Labor Day Classic. After topping the 28-car field in time trials, Beard streak to a heat race win. Starting the opening night feature in second, Kyle faded five spots to finish seventh.

For the second round of the Labor Day Classic on Saturday at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Miss.), Kyle’s seventh-place finish in his heat race pinned him 21st on the starting grid for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Sunday’s finale at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) fell victim to Mother Nature.

Kyle sits in fourth in the latest CCSDS point standings.
