13th-place finish in Governor's Cup at TST

On Saturday afternoon, Kyle Beard trekked to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for the B.J. Parker Memorial Governor’s Cup. With a stout field of 45 Southern All Star Series entries on hand, Kyle edged his way into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with the fifth-and-final transfer spot in his heat race. Rolling off 19th, Beard improved six spots in the 60-lap affair to finish 13th.
