Kyle Beard follows Castrol FNiA to Spoon River and Lincoln
Taking part in a mid-week doubleheader with the Castrol FloRacing Night in America miniseries, Kyle Beard traveled to Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.) on Wednesday afternoon for the $23,023-to-win show.
With a stacked 48-car field on hand, Beard qualified 17th in his group before making up three spots in his heat race to finish sixth. Needing a Top-3 position in his B-Main to transfer to the main event, Kyle recorded a sixth-place finish.
For another $23,023-to-win show at Lincoln Speedway (Lincoln, Ill.) on Thursday afternoon, Beard finished seventh in his heat race which relegated him to a B-Main. With one more spot to make the A-Main starting field, Kyle gained one position to finish 10th.
Making the haul to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Saturday afternoon, Beard transferred to the main event with a fourth-place finish in his heat. For the $10,000-to-win main event, Beard recorded an eighth-place finish.
