Runner-up outing with Comp Cams at Jackson Motor Speedway
Kyle Beard made a lone start over the weekend at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Miss.) and entered his No. 86 machine into Comp Cam Super Dirt Series competition on Saturday afternoon.
Following the fourth-quickest lap in qualifying, Beard suffered mechanical issues in his heat race which forced him to start at the tail of the feature. Rolling off from 22nd in the $5,000-to-win main event, Kyle stormed through the field in the 40-lap show and picked off 20 competitors to land on the podium in second. He trailed Brian Rickman while BJ Robinson, Hunter Rasdon, and Mikey Kile completed the Top-5.
