Beard continues Comp Cams title run at Magnolia Motor Speedway
With just a handful of events left in the 2023 Comp Cams Super Dirt Series, Kyle Beard made the trek to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) for the first night of the Cotton Pickin' 100.
Among a strong field of 46 Late Models, Beard was unable to transfer through his heat race but nabbed an A-Main position in his B-Main. For Friday's $4,000-to-win feature, Beard recorded an 11th-place finish.
With another complete show on tap Saturday evening, Beard snuck into the main event with the last transfer position in his B-Main. With a $12,000 prize on the line, Kyle charged from his 21st-place starting position to record a Top-10 finish in 10th.
Beard currently sits second in the CCSDS points standings.
