Ninth-place outing in 33rd-running of Topless 100 with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
Kyle Beard pulled off his roof for the weekend and joined the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Ark.) on Friday afternoon for the 33rd-annual Topless 100.
Among a 44-car field, Beard started 14th in his preliminary feature and stormed forward to land inside the Top-10 in sixth. Kyle earned a spot in the $50,000 finale on Saturday and kept his nose clean during the lenghty 100-lap feature. He recorded a strong ninth-place finish with the national tour.
