Kyle Beard Charges to Cow Patty Victory at Old No. 1 Speedway

$10,000 CCSDS Payday Comes on Late Pass

TRUMANN, Ark. (April 14, 2026) — Kyle Beard’s experience at Old No. 1 Speedway paid off over the weekend, as the Arkansas native captured his eighth career Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) victory at the quarter-mile oval in Saturday’s Cow Patty.

The two-time series champion surged past Tanner English in the closing laps of the 50-lap feature to claim the $10,000 top prize. The win marked Beard’s first of the 2026 season and the 26th CCSDS triumph of his career.

“That was a good one. … I think I just got lucky," Beard said in victory lane. "I thought I passed ‘em a couple times, but then they were still right there. It was a wild one. It was a pretty good race. Definitely could get around the top in one and two pretty good and had to run the bottom in three and four.”

While his weekend ended in victory lane, Beard’s doubleheader began Friday at Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park in Missouri for the Battle at the Bluff. After finishing second in his heat race, he charged from sixth to second in the feature, joining race-winner Morgan Bagley and third-place finisher Timothy Culp on the podium.

Back on home soil Saturday, Beard continued his momentum with a heat race win at Old No. 1 Speedway in Harrisburg, located just minutes from his shop. Starting from the front row in the feature, he made his move on Tanner English on lap 26 and never looked back en route to the 50-lap victory.

Beard currently sits third in the latest CCSDS point standings.

The Trumann, Arkansas native also competed in the Modified division over the weekend, recording finishes of fourth and fifth.

Beard is currently evaluating his plans for the upcoming weekend. The Comp Cams Super Dirt Series resumes May 8–9 with the Bad Boy 98 at Batesville Motor Speedway, featuring an $8,000-to-win preliminary on Friday and a $12,000-to-win finale on Saturday.
